The price of one pack does not show what a year of treatment might cost. This calculator combines your prices with planned quantities, appointments and other support. It has no built-in medicine prices, does not calculate doses and cannot promise insurance cover.
Your tool
This tool does not send your entries. They remain in this open page.
Use the same period throughout
Enter the price of one pack and the planned number over twelve months. That number should come from your actual treatment and supply plan. One pack does not automatically equal one calendar month. Ask your practice or pharmacy to clarify the yearly quantity if needed. The calculator does not derive administration instructions from it.
Include the surrounding support
Add the price of each self-funded appointment and the number planned. Other recurring support is entered as a monthly amount and counted twelve times; additional one-off costs have a separate field. Use the same currency everywhere. Choosing EUR or CHF changes the display only and does not convert amounts using an exchange rate.
Follow the calculation
The cost before reimbursement is pack price multiplied by pack count, plus appointment price multiplied by appointment count, twelve monthly support amounts and one-off costs. Entered reimbursement is then deducted. The monthly average is the remaining yearly amount divided by twelve. It does not show which months bills will actually arrive or when reimbursement will be paid.
Try a fictional example
At 200 euros per pack for 13 packs, four appointments at 75 euros, monthly support of 20 euros and one-off costs of 60 euros, the total is 3,200 euros. Subtracting 400 euros of confirmed reimbursement leaves 2,800 euros, averaging 233.33 euros monthly. These figures demonstrate arithmetic; they are not a price quote for any medicine.
Keep uncertainty visible
Try one version without an unconfirmed reimbursement and another when an amount has been confirmed in writing. Negative values and reimbursement above the recorded total are rejected. Price changes, different packs or extra appointments can change the budget. Print the inputs with the result so you can see which assumptions produced the estimate rather than treating it as a final invoice.
Common questions
Why use packs rather than injection doses?
This keeps the tool focused on budgeting. Confirm the required pack count from your prescribed plan without calculating a dose here.
Can I enter zero?
Yes, for example if you pay for no extra support or have no confirmed reimbursement. Zero is an input, not an automatic promise of cover.
